As described in MacIntouch within MacWeek, this program will cure a modem port problem on Mac II family machines. The symptoms may be that the modem port may always be "in use", there may be a crash with a -98 error, or in our case, the darn port just wouldn't respond - even to repeated threats, pleading or bribes. No documentation. Just run the program and it clears a parameter RAM problem that even the keyboard method fails to correct. Hope it helps you. It certainly helped us.
